R. S. Torrenzo has lived a life like many others—
marked by love and loss, joy and tragedy,
and the other common experiences of being in this world.
Raised with exposure to multiple religious
and philosophical traditions,
Torrenzo had the freedom to explore, contemplate,
and refine a personal, tailored faith.
As an airline pilot who loves being in nature,
and who has lived many years
among diverse cultures around the world—
Torrenzo has had the rare opportunity and privilege
to see the world from a unique perspective—
both physically and philosophically.
Through these experiences,
he came to see how preconceptions of other cultures
often dissolved when met with openness
and deeper understanding.
Encounters in unfamiliar settings
gradually revealed not only striking differences,
but also vast commonalities—
universal expressions shared across people
and even among all living things.
These experiences inspire a lifelong inquiry—
one still unfolding
through philosophy, science and spirituality.
